| Painter, illustrator, muralist. Born in Priego, Spain on March 3, 1891. Having developed artistically at an early age, at ten Moya del Pino was apprenticed to an itinerant religious painter. In 1904 he moved to Granada where he worked under Laterre, another religious painter, and attended night classes at the Granada School of Arts & Crafts. He then attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid. A traveling scholarship from that school enabled him to visit Italy, (showing 500 of 2512 characters). |
