George Pinca 1918-1981
George Pinca was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He worked as a machinist before he joined the army Air Corps in 1942. After the war he studied art at the Art Students League and at the New York Phoenix School of Design. He moved to San Antonio, Texas and studied at Trinity University and the San Antonio Art Institute.
He began exhibiting at the Witte Museum in 1947. He taught art at Randolph Air Force Base, at the San Antonio Art (showing 500 of 1040 characters). |
