Keith Klein is amazingly diverse, with styles that range from classical realism, still life paintings, plein air landscapes and portraiture to bright and colorful works that have their roots in impressionism and pointillism. He studied with a teacher from Germany named Anneleise Wharenberg in an “Atelier” in Walton Kentucky. Klein felt it was the very best way to learn to paint because she would demonstrate the technique as he watched. He carries on the very same tradition in his Studio in Florence, Kentucky. His “Atelier” is housed in the former Florence Deposit Bank.
Klein's work is part of the collection(s) of the Princess of Saudi Arabia, Cincinnati Bell, Converges, Cincinnati Financial and many prestigious private collections across the United States.
"Nature mirrors the spiritual in the dance of the light and dark of things, painting is not just a visual experience. I ask my students to taste the shadows and hear the light."
