Active in Washington DC in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and later in Chicago and Plainfield, New Jersey, Nina Allender was an officer to the DC Art Students League and was a charter member of the Washington Art Club. Other memberships were the Society of Washington Artists and the Watercolor Club.
Allender was official cartoonist for the National Women's Party for whom she was official cartoonist. Among her cartoons were The Suffragist and Equal Rights. (showing 500 of 2153 characters). |
