|  The following is from an owner of a George Schinzel painting, oil on canvas, titled Hanging Duck Robin and Blackbird Still Life. Of the artist, the owner wrote that "this is his third painting I have seen where the subject is birds in still life" and apparently Schinzel was in Europe because his work had sold through Christie's London.
Also he was living as an artist in Brooklyn, New York in 1879 as indicated in the Lain Directory of Brooklyn.
