| Charles Gerrish Triebel was born in Vallejo, CA on April 6, 1910. Triebel studied at the California School of Fine Arts and Richard Stephens’ Academy of Advertising Art. While a resident of San Francisco, he was art director for Velvetone Poster (1933-34) and then employed by Foster & Kleiser (1935-41) and Louis Roesch Lithographers (1945-75). He died at his home in Walnut Creek, CA on March 12, 2006.
