| Born in Covington, IN on Nov. 14, 1889. Jessie was the wife of Daniel MacGregor, a mechanical engineer for an oil company. Leading a peripatetic life, Jessie studied art in the Orient for many years. The couple was in Contra Costa County, CA in 1930 and settled on the Monterey Peninsula in 1942. Mrs. MacGregor died in Carmel on Sept. 25, 1969.
