| Margaret M. Norgrove Dawson was born in Berkeley, California on December 31, 1886. While in San Francisco in 1900-01, Dawson studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. By 1910 she was living in Boise, ID and during 1920-40 she was in Berkeley. A divorcée, she died in Hayward, CA on March 12, 1967.
