"Adolph Philipp was born in Mayville, Wisconsin on April 3, 1854. His parents were pioneer settlers of this city and the father conducted a furniture factory here for many years.
Mr. Philipp was an artist of considerable talent, and spent all of his life at wood-carving and painting, in addition to being interested in the manufacture of furniture.
His wife, the former Theresa Bahl, also a pioneer resident of this communit (showing 500 of 919 characters). |
