| Working from her Silver Canyon Tile Company studio in the town of Avalon on Catalina Island since 1988, Robin Cassidy does both wheel thrown functional pottery as well as tiles created with her new designs and reproduction of the historic decorative paver tiles, which had been produced on the island during the 20's and 30's. Many of her reproductions were used in the extensive restoration of the downtown Avalon area in 1999.
Cassiday also does one of a kind bass relief mural commissions, and in conjunction with the Catalina Island Museum offers weekly tile-making workshops.
