| Born in New York on Aug. 16, 1879. By the 1890s Dodge had settled in Oakland. For several years prior to the earthquake of 1906, she ferried to San Francisco to study at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. A spinster, she died in Oakland, CA on May 3, 1957.
