 Petr Alekseevich Kot (born February 3, 1933 in the family of a peasant in the village of Kulazhyntsi, Brovary district, Kiev region, Ukraine - died October 7, 2003, buried in Mariupol, Donetsk region, Ukraine).
Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, the Honored Artist of Ukraine.
1951-1953 studied at Kiev State Decorative and Applied Arts School. 1957-1961 continued studies at Dnepropetrovsk State Arts School. 1961-1967 graduated with honor from Kiev State Arts Institute (now Academy of Arts).
Teachers: the Honored Artist of Ukraine Nikolay Borovskiy, the Honored worker of Arts of Ukraine, professor Shtilman I.N., the National Artist of Ukraine, professor Trokhimenko K.D., the National Artist of USSR and Ukraine, professor Puzyrkov V.G.
