| Born in San Francisco, CA on June 29, 1892. Nicholson grew up in San Francisco and studied there at the Institute of Art in 1909-11. Shortly thereafter, she wed Louis E. Bowman, manager of Overall Supply Company. A lifelong resident of her native city, she died on April 28, 1976.
