BERTHA JANSZ ( – 1980)
Little information is available about the life of Bertha Maud Jansz and what is known is sketchy at best, while her work is difficult to come by as much of it remains in private collections.
She started her study of art in her twenties and was a regular exhibitor at the annual exhibitions of the Ceylon Society of Arts where she won many prizes, including for two years in succession, the prestigious (showing 500 of 2041 characters). |
