| Born in Vermont on Oct. 25, 1835, the daughter of Sophronia Smith and Isaac Eastman. Emily Eastman moved to California in 1856. She was a resident of San Francisco in 1869-86 and Alameda in 1904-11. She died at the Odd Fellows Home near Saratoga, CA on June 9, 1923.
