| Born in Provinceton, RI on Dec. 11, 1843. Eaton studied in Paris from 1873-76. He lived in Europe until 1886 when he moved to Santa Barbara, CA. An advocate of the Arts & Crafts movement, he produced carved furniture, tapestries, and paintings. Eaton was active in Santa Barbara until his death on Aug. 21, 1930.
