| Born in Fresno, CA on Jan. 1, 1886. Elam was a resident of San Francisco before moving across the bay to Berkeley in 1932. For 25 years she taught at Oakland Technical High School. Upon retirement, she moved across the Golden Gate to Mill Valley. A spinster, she died there on May 27, 1962. Exh: SFAA, 1931.
