| | Born in Boston, MA on May 19, 1857. After several years in Nevada where her father was a mining engineer, Elizabeth married Gerald Thomas in 1895 and settled in Alameda, CA. She maintained a kiln in her home at 1405 Caroline where she produced painted porcelain and taught small classes until her death on Dec. 22, 1938. | Source:
