| Born in Camp Hill, PA in 1907. Asseln moved to Los Angeles in 1922. There she was employed in commercial art while studying at Chouinard Art Institute. She then became affiliated with Allied Advertising Artists. The house organ she designed and illustrated won awards in 1936 and 1938 from the American Ass’n of Industrial Editors. After her marriage to Harold Hansen in 1957, she moved to San Clemente, CA in 1964. She died in San Marcos, CA on June 9, 2003.  (showing 500 of 3232 characters). |
