Born in Ramona, CA on Dec. 14, 1911. The Etcheverry family settled in Los Angeles in 1922. As a teenager Louisa began working at Vernon Pottery (owned by her uncle Merle Meyers). Early in life she married artist Albert H. King. The couple established a studio which for many years was one of the leaders in ceramic production in the U.S. Mrs. King died in Los Angeles on March 21, 1966.
