| Born in Cincinnati, OH on July 21, 1850. Fletcher was made a captain during the Nez Percé Indian War. He was a resident of San Francisco from 1880 until 1904 or longer at 2503 Fillmore. Captain Fletcher became a curator at the Mark Hopkins School in 1899 and continued as director of that school until 1915. He died in Washington on Oct. 28, 1936.
