| Margaret Maydella Norton was born in California on July 4, 1905. A graduate of the California College of Arts & Crafts, Norton continued at the Art Institute of Chicago. taught drawing at Napa Union High School in the late 1920s. About this time she married attorney Albert Trower. She died in Napa, CA on October 20, 1996.
