| Born in Tennessee on June 12, 1871. Harrell came to California with her family in 1876 and settled in Fresno. She advertised as an artist during 1912-13 and later spent 20 years as an executive in the county schools. A spinster, she died in Fresno on Feb. 5, 1961.
