Hugh Warren Williams (1862 – 1941)
Born in Liverpool in 1862;his father John was a Liverpool pilot. He attended the Liverpool School of Art. In his early career he worked for Dennis of Scarborough and London (printers), painting scenes for postcards.
He married Cicely Jones ( b.1870) in 1892 who was also an artist and music teacher in Birkenhead. They had 3 children and then moved to Anglesey, Wales in late 1898 and subsequently to the Conway Valley. H (showing 500 of 1005 characters). |
