| orn in San Francisco, CA on Jan. 6, 1852. After graduation from Mills Seminary in 1870, Martha soon married Dr. Matthew Patton. Settling into a home in San Francisco, she painted and wrote fiction stories for the Call Bulletin. Their home was destroyed by the earthquake and fire of 1906. Mrs. Patton died in San Francisco, CA on Nov. 29, 1926. She was the granddaughter of Wm Isaac Tustin after whom the city is named.
