This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following information is from Daphne Faler, who posted this message in the Discussion Board section.

Today I bought a painting at an Estate Sale.  The old gentleman who was the owner said it was by Lillian Price, purchased in California many years ago for his wife.

The painting is about 3' x 5 1/2'.  It is of a young woman with long wavey brown hair in a floor length green dress.  She has red poppies in her hair and is standing in a "field" of grass and red poppies.

The owner gave me a card that had the following info typed on it:
    Painting by:
    Lillian Price
    From the Porterville CA area
    turn-of-the-century era
