| Born in Boston, MA on Sept. 16, 1865. Emily Wilson was supporting herself with her art by 1892. In 1912 she was a pupil of L. P. Latimer in Santa Cruz and then settled in Los Angeles where she was active in the local art scene. Both marriages to Haselten and Philbrook ended in divorce. She died in Los Angeles on Nov. 15, 1937.
