| | Born in California on April 17, 1890. Following service in WWI, Hill settled in San Diego and worked there as a freelance artist into the 1930s. For many years he painted scenery for Warner Brothers while painting landscapes in his leisure. He died in La Mesa, CA on June 7, 1964. | Source:
