| Born near Canton, China on June 18, 1904. Luke and his family immigrated to the U.S. in 1907 and settled in Seattle, WA. He was educated at the University of Washington. In 1928 he moved to Los Angeles and began work as an artist at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. As well as an artist, he also acted in the movies as Charlie Chan's son and in other films. He maintained a studio-home in the San Fernando Valley until his death on Jan. 12, 1991. His illustrations are i (showing 500 of 800 characters). |
