| Born in Oakland, CA on Oct. 31, 1900. By 1922 Lyman was working as an artist in the San Francisco Bay area. Following her marriage to artist Roi Partridge in 1935, she remained a resident of Oakland until her death of cancer on Aug. 15, 1940.
