| Born in Birmingham, England on June 29, 1878. Davis came to the U.S. about 1900 to work for Tiffany Studios in NYC. In 1924 he moved to Los Angeles to work for Judson Studios in Highland Park. The firm produced works for local cemeteries and Stanford University. Davis died in Los Angeles on Sept. 22, 1928. He was the son-in-law of artist John Stark Melville.
