| Born in Colorado on July 16, 1889. While a resident of San Bruno in 1930, Davis was foreman of the paint shop for the Southern Pacific Railroad. In his leisure he painted oils of locomotives and seascapes. He died in Santa Barbara on Nov. 16, 1971.
