|  John B.Wilkinson was a painter (oil, watercolour, gouache and pencil) of Quebec genre scenes. He arrived in Quebec City in 1865 (probably from Britain) and moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1874 where he lived until he died, in 1915.
His work is in the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto).
