Signe Palmblad (1870- )
Signe Palmblad was born March 12, 1870 in Stockholm Sweden.
A Swedish-American artist, she was widely known for her Swedish peasants. She was a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, graduating at the age of 53. She also specialized in landscape painting.
She was affiliated with the All-Illinois Society of the Fine Arts, The Austin, Oak Park and River Forest Art League, the Swedish artists (showing 500 of 853 characters). |
