| Born in California on May 3, 1890. Gabriel studied at the CCAC, ASL of NYC and with Bourdell in Paris. By 1930 she had moved to the San Francisco Bay area. For 30 years she taught art in the public schools of Berkeley and University High School in Oakland where Dong Kingman was one of her pupils. A spinster, she died in Palo Alto, CA on March 27, 1972.
