| Born in Minneapolis, MN on Nov. 3, 1893. Gagne studied art in Paris and NYC. After settling in Los Angeles in 1920, he designed costumes for the movie studios and taught at Chouinard Art School until a fatal heart attack on Feb. 28, 1936.
