| Born in Los Angeles, CA in 1920. Grant began his career in 1937 as a copy boy for the Los Angeles Examiner. While there, he learned to draw. He later drew sports cartoons for the Milwaukee Sentinel and then spent many years as a political cartoonist for the Oakland Tribune. He died in Oakland, CA on Sept. 7, 2001.
