| Francis "Frank" N. Nichols II was born in Kansas in 1935. He earned a BA from Kansas State Teacher's College in Emporia, Kansas and a MFA from Wichita State Univ.(Kansas) in 1967. Pupil of David Bernard and Robert Kiskadden. Taught printmaking at Fort Hays State Univ. (Kansas) from 1967-99. He initiated the Annual High School Exhibition in 1972 and supervised it until his retirement. In 1972 he also organized the High Plains Printmakers’ Group so his students would have an oppo (showing 500 of 1073 characters). |
