| Joe Oswalt was a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. Lived in Marysville, Kansas and Seneca, Kansas. Worked on the restoration of St. Mary’s Church at St. Benedict in Nemaha County, Kansas. In 1983, the Kansas Legislature passed a resolution commending Oswalt for the quality of the restoration.
