| Cecil Probst was born March 10, 1901 in Missouri. He lived in Wyandotte County, Kansas by 1910. Worked as a blacksmith in Wichita in 1920 and living back in Wyandotte County in 1930. Worked as a WPA artist under the Kansas division of the Federal Art Project.
