| Allan MacDonald Carson was born in New York on October 17, 1901. Carson appears to have moved to Los Angeles in the 1940s. He had a home at 1402 North Benton and was active the art colony in Laguna Beach.
By the 1970s he had settled in San Diego and was a member of the Art Guild.
He died there on February 11, 1989.
