This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Since graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art in 1998, Chessney Sevier has pursued a career as an artist.  The beauty of Wyoming inspires her work.  She considers herself a "Contemporary Western Artist" since she expresses the American West the way she lives it every day.

She has taken top honors in printmaking and painting at the nationally acclaimed Santa Fe Indian Market and the Heard Museum Indian Market Show.  Museum exhibits include the Bradford Brinton Memorial & Museum and a solo exhibit at the Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
