| | Eva May King Potts was born in Michigan on June 10, 1890. By 1920 Eva was the wife of traveling salesman, Charles Potts, and living in Detroit. During the 1920s she was in Colorado. By 1930 she had settled in Los Angeles. In her leisure she became an able painter of landscapes of the smoke trees around Palm Springs.
