Born in Caracas, Oscar Machado pursued studies in textile design and Fine Arts in Milan in 1972 and 1973. Upon his return to Venezuela,
he worked at the Francisco Narváez Studio, where he learned to carve in stone.
Later he traveled to Kansas City and Montreal, where he pursued degrees in Art and Theater Lighting respectively.
Machado’s sculptures are made including elements of architectural
composition and he presents assembled and organized fragments, which the artist so (showing 500 of 762 characters). |
