Norman E. Fortier (1919-2010)
Born in Massachusetts, he became a well-known marine photographer and watercolor painter. After serving as a US Navy aerial photographer during WWII, Mr. Fortier opened a photography studio in Padanaram, Massachusetts from which he retired in 2008 after a successful career. His studio was a destination stopover for visiting yachtsmen seeking to have him photograph their boats, share his knowledge of local waters and to view his watercolors.
