Biography from Linda Fairchild Contemporary Art:
| Please note: Artists not classified as American in our database may have limited biographical data
compared to the extensive information about American artists.
Claudio Nalerio, painter and illustrator, grew up in the port areas of
Montevideo and Buenos Aires. Inspired by the old neighborhoods
built by Spanish and Italian immigrants, Nalerio painted the old walls,
doors and windows of his childhood haunts.
In his paintings you
will find the colors of his memories; subliminally you will feel his
passion for music, food and wine and most importantly the feeling of
family union and connection to his Mediterranean roots.
