Maria Marstrand (b.1967)
A self-taught artist, she paints what she feels and senses in an expressionist style, with impressionist overtones. Having found her own form, her colors and shapes fuse, creating tense atmospheres.
2003 – 2004: Art history studies at Copenhagen University
1994 – 1996: Studies with Norwegian artist Håkan Nyström
1988 – 1991: Studies at Århus Academy of Art, Denmark
1977 – 1978: First courses in oil painting, Island of Funen, Denmark
2013 : Solo Exhibition in Copenhagen
