| Elaine Lois Bailey was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Oct. 27, 1914. Bailey studied at the California School of Fine Arts in the 1930s while living in Berkeley. By the mid-1940s her married name was Dooley. She was a resident of Manassas, Virginia at the time of her death on Sept. 2, 1995. Exhibited: Golden Gate International Exposition, 1940; San Francisco Art Ass’n, 1940-46.
