Stan Gaz works in photography, sculpture, film, and performance
art. Raised in the high desert near Joshua Tree, California, Gaz
moved to New York in 1989. In 2009, he created the series Impact, based on a long fascination with meteorite craters and their sacred importance to various tribal communities.
Created at the same time, Self Portrait (Star Traveler with String Theory Scepter, 2009,
is a reflection on childhood issues about family stability (showing 500 of 1028 characters). |
