| Emily McBride was born in Milwaukee, WI in 1892. Emily was the daughter of artist Eva McBride. The family settled in Pasadena in 1898. In 1920 she wed Paul Perigord who was on the faculty at Throop College. The couple was still in Pasadena in 1931 but later moved to France.
